Virtual Events

Can’t make it back to campus? You can still celebrate Homecoming from wherever you are with our virtual events! From the 5K Run/1 Mile Walk to themed days to fun giveaways, it’s a great way to stay connected and show your BC spirit no matter the distance.

Registration Details

Help us bring the ‘game ball’ to Jopson Field and support the Eagle Fund (current-use scholarships) in the process. Register for the 5k run OR 1-mile walk. Get your four-legged furry companion, family and friends together to run, walk, trot or stroll through your town. All who register will receive a t-shirt, dog bandana (if requested), game ball sticker and finisher bib.

Snap a pic and share with BC Alumni Relations (email: alumnews@bridgewater.edu) to see how far the ‘ball game’ travels on its way to BC!

Cost: 5K-$35, 1 Mile-$25.

Join us for a Homecoming celebration with a festive bonfire and dazzling fireworks display! Enjoy a night of community, fun, and school spirit as we gather around the flames and watch the sky light up in a spectacular show. Don’t miss this highlight of Homecoming. The bonfire will begin at 8:30 p.m. with fireworks around 9 p.m.

Members of the Class of 1976 are invited to attend Homecoming festivities to learn more about their upcoming 50th reunion! Grab a bagel and some coffee and learn more about your reunion, the class gift and how you can get involved. The event will be hosted by special guest Kelly Snow, AVP for Institutional Advancement. A Zoom option is available for those wanting to learn more but unable to travel to campus.

Full event details

All members of the Screamin’ Eagles alumni band are invited to perform in the stands during the Homecoming game. Members are invited to meet Dr. Christine Carrillo in the band room. Music will be emailed upon registration. Attire: BC gear or Marching/Pep band t-shirt.
NOTE: Registration is required for both the Jazz Band and Screamin’ Eagles band events.

2 p.m. Jopson Athletic Complex

Pre-ordered football tickets may be picked up at registration on Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate on game day (while supplies last).  No pets or umbrellas allowed in the stadium. $10 per person / $8 senior ticket / $6 children 6-12 / 5 and under FREE. All sales final.
Classes in reunion can join Reunion Row beginning at 11 a.m. on Mapp Field complete with your favorite tailgate food and drinks. Football ticket will allow you and your guest entry onto Mapp Field. Mapp Field closes one hour after the game concludes.

4 p.m. Soccer Complex

Support women's soccer as they take on Guilford. Game is free and open to the public.

5-9 p.m. Bluestone Vineyard (4828 Spring Creek Rd, Bridgewater)

All members from the Class of 2005 are invited to Bluestone for wine (purchases paid individually). Gather again to reminisce about life 20 years after BC and take in the breathtaking views of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This event is hosted by Justin Pruett ’05.

All members from the Class of 2020 are invited to The Cracked Pillar Outdoor Pavilion for drinks and appetizers (purchases paid individually). Gather after the game to continue catching up on what’s been happening in your lives since graduating from BC. This event is hosted by Tori Callahan Giger ’20. A special alumni swag item will be given to all in attendance.

Join your fellow classmates at this special dinner and remembrance of our Fallen Eagles. Happy Hour: 5:30-6:30 p.m. with dinner buffet beginning at 6:30 p.m. Buffet includes a salad, choice of entrees (apricot glazed turkey, beef stroganoff with noodles or salmon with dill butter; vegetarian option available), green beans, carrots and dessert. Coffee, tea and water are included; beer and wine are available for purchase. Casual attire. Cost: $45/per person
