Three BC Students to Present at VATA Meeting in January

Three Bridgewater College majors in the Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (BSAT) program have been selected to present at the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association in January.

Three Bridgewater College majors in the Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (BSAT) program have been selected to present at the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association in January.

Maria Rector, a senior, will present her case study “Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction Surgery Complicated by Marfanoid Habitus in a Male Collegiate Baseball Player.” Rector is the daughter of Kathy and Jose Rector of Frederick, Md.

Elizabeth Washington, a senior, and Audrey Ferguson, a junior, will present a case study, “Hip Labral Tear Complicated by Congenital Retroversion of the Acetabulum in a Collegiate Baseball Player.” These two presentations were selected from among 30 submissions from seven colleges and universities in Virginia.

Washington is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. Tom Washington of Stafford, Va.

Ferguson is the daughter of Robert and Cindy Ferguson of Lynchburg, Va.
