Rod Spratley will speak on “Establishing Your Financial Footprint.” He will discuss the principles of making financial decisions, particularly for young people who have not done so previously.

Rodney Spratley, who overcame meager financial means growing up to rise to a place of success, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in the Boitnott Room at Bridgewater College. (This event was rescheduled from Nov. 15 due to inclement weather.)

Spratley will speak on “Establishing Your Financial Footprint.” He will discuss the principles of making financial decisions, particularly for young people who have not done so previously.

After earning a B.S. degree in business administration, Spratley started four companies, co-authored a book, founded a faith-based nonprofit organization, and produced and hosted a teen program on public access television.

“Wealth is not only the abundance of valuable resources or valuable material possessions, it also includes health and happiness in body, mind and spirit,” said Spratley. “With wealth, each individual can change their community, region or country to the benefit of the common good.”

The presentation is free and open to the public.
