“The Revolution Generation,” the documentary film based on Josh Tickell’s book, “The Revolution Generation: How Millennials Can Save America and the World Before It’s Too Late,” will be screened. March 28.

The Revolution Generation, the documentary film based on Josh Tickell’s book, The Revolution Generation, How Millennials Can Save America and the World Before It’s Too Late, will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in Cole Hall at Bridgewater College.

The Revolution Generation details Tickell’s decade-long journey around the world to learn how leaders in the millennial generation, and to a lesser extent, Generation Z, are working to halt climate change through political activism.

Tickell is an internationally recognized author, film director and speaker who specializes in movies with a social message.

In 2008, Tickell released his first feature film, Fuel, which won the Sundance Audience Award for Best Documentary and was shortlisted for an Oscar.

He went on to co-direct with his wife, Kiss the Ground, The Big Fix, PUMP and Good Fortune, which won the Audience Choice Award for Best of Festival at the Sedona International Film Festival in 2017.

Tickell has been a featured guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Good Morning America. He is a regularly featured opinion leader in news stories on CNN, Discovery, Reuters, NBC, Fox and NPR.

The documentary and question-and-answer session are free and open to the public.
