O. Paul Siple was posthumously inducted into the Salem-Roanoke (Va.) Baseball Hall of Fame in Febraury 2024. He was a four-year letterman as a shortstop for the Eagles and was a professional scout for Major League Baseball.

Charles “Buddy” Cauley was posthumously inducted into the Bath County (Va.) Athletic Hall of Fame in August 2023. Cauley was one of three Bath County natives to join the inaugural Bridgewater College men’s golf team in 1958.
