Bridgewater College senior Noah Flint received the Merlin and Dorothy Faw Garber Award for Christian Service.
The award is named in memory of the late Dr. Merlin Garber and his wife, Dorothy, who were Bridgewater College alumni and deeply involved in the life of the Church of the Brethren as pastors. The award honors outstanding Christian service.
Flint is a music major from Rocky Mount, Va. He was a member of the college’s Spiritual Life Board and served as leader of Engage Worship’s band “Outspoken.”
He was a member of the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Ensemble and the Pep Band. He was co-director of the Handbell Choir and A Cappella Fellas.
Following graduation on May 1, Flint will attend seminary and pursue a counseling degree.
