Know That You Belong
We believe that the greatest possibilities in life are realized in what we build together. So we’ve designed your Bridgewater experience as a network of connections to big ideas, great mentors, inspiring classmates and professional experiences. You’ll learn and grow in ways you never thought possible.
Let’s Get Started
No matter where you are in your college career – looking to start your first year, begin a graduate program or transfer from another school – the most important part of the admissions process is making sure you have the right information. Choose the type of student you are and you’ll find everything you need to know to make your admissions journey as smooth as possible.
Update on Deposit Deadline
Bridgewater College is extending its first-year student enrollment deposit deadline to June 1, 2024, due to delays in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and the strain those delays have placed on prospective students and their families. In August, we made a commitment to cut the confusion out of the college search process when we announced our new published tuition price of $15,000. We continue that commitment now by providing students with the support they need to make their important college decision. “Transparency, value, and affordability are crucial in the college decision process, and we want to provide families with the necessary time to make an informed decision,” said Michael Post, Vice President for Enrollment Management.
We encourage you to take the following steps:
- Submit your admissions application if you haven’t yet. It’s not too late!
- Don’t delay submitting your FAFSA using BC’s school code of 003704 if you haven’t already.
- Attend one of our upcoming exclusive admitted student events, or visit campus if you haven’t yet been admitted.
- Submit your $300 deposit after you’re admitted so you can begin planning for the fall (refundable until June 1, 2024).
We are acting quickly to get financial aid award letters into the hands of new students. And our financial aid staff continue to be available to help families file the FAFSA and talk through their award letter after it is received.
Financial Aid
We’re getting real about the cost of a Bridgewater education. Starting in fall 2024, our published tuition price will be $15,000. We want to make the life-changing experiences at BC accessible to students and families, clearly and up-front.
100% of first-year, full-time students receive financial assistance. Find out more:
Why Bridgewater?
Now’s the time to join us on a path to a bright future.
From new programs like an esports team and the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band to new degree programs in engineering and financial planning, BC continues to evolve as the world around us does. And with numerous recent campus enhancements—from the Forrer Learning Commons to the Rebecca Quad gathering space and the current renovation of Bowman Hall—you’ll learn and live in a place that will grow along with you, meeting your needs along the way.
At Bridgewater, you can get a private college experience at a public college price.
It’s the smaller, more-connected environment at BC that will lead to your greatest successes. Here, you’ll bond with faculty, coaches and mentors in a way that’s hard to come by at larger public colleges. Because of these connections, you’re more than a number and will get the attention and opportunities that prepare you for life after college—whether that’s a career or entry into graduate school.
Our close-knit community creates great opportunities for students.
And those experiences mean even more possibilities after graduation. Work closely with a faculty member on cutting-edge research projects—even in your first year. Get a grant to stay on campus and conduct summer research in areas ranging from political science to biochemistry. Experience a whole new world by studying abroad for a semester or taking advantage of a faculty-led May Term travel course—think studying marine ecology in Belize or honing your travel-writing skills in Scotland.
You’ll start prepping for life after BC as soon as you step on campus.
Take advantage of workshops on resumes, job interviews and networking, or intern at places like Merck Pharmaceuticals and Brown Edwards. These opportunities—coupled with the lasting connections you’ll make at BC—lead to real results. Recent graduates have gone on to med school, law school and graduate programs at Princeton, Duke, Harvard and more. They’re employed at places like the U.S. Department of Health, SAP Software Solutions and Capital One.
Visit Campus
When you visit our campus, you’ll see exactly what makes Bridgewater such a special place. Join us for a personal or group visit on campus, or take advantage of a variety of virtual sessions you can attend from your own home.
