Bridgewater’s Speakers Bureau is a service to the local community and there is no charge for the presentations.
The 2020-21 Speakers Bureau may be viewed on the college’s website at https://www.bridgewater.edu/events-news/speakers and requests may be submitted online.
The listing features a wide range of topics, including the current state of marriage and family in America, the fundamental concepts of financial literacy and how to be an inspired leader.
Also included are topics such as how to develop a business plan and recent research on minority and women entrepreneurs. The listing also features presentations on the 2020 election and its impact on the future of American identity and political unity.
In addition, the Speakers Bureau covers topics on Russia in the 21st century, the current crisis in the Middle East and the emergence of China as a world power.
The Speakers Bureau also provides a list of experts to help high school students prepare for college, understand the college admissions process and financial aid, learn what it is like to be a college student and realize the power of a liberal arts education.
