Spiritual Life

Pursue your spiritual journey

Bridgewater honors its distinctive religious heritage while welcoming students of all religious, spiritual, and philosophical perspectives as part of an open, inclusive, and diverse learning community.

Recognizing that everyone is at a different place on the spiritual journey, Bridgewater provides a variety of resources and opportunities that can help you connect in ways that fit who and where you are on that journey.

Bridgewater’s full-time chaplain provides spiritual guidance and support for all students—regardless of religious tradition or spiritual orientation.

So explore your spiritual beliefs and values. Ask the hard questions. Consider new ideas and viewpoints. Continue the journey and discover your meaningful place in the world. We will meet you where you are.

Bridgewater is affiliated with the Church of the Brethren, a small Protestant denomination founded on the core values of equality, community, simplicity, service and peace. Bridgewater continues to honor this heritage while welcoming people from all perspectives as part of its learning community.
