Historic Wilton House Tour with Kirk Monroe ’02

Discover the story of the Wilton House, decorated for the holidays, with our tour guide and BC Alumni, Kirk Monroe ’02. Wilton, a 1753 Georgian home built for William Randolph III and once the center of a 2,000-acre tobacco plantation in Henrico County. Wilton witnessed key moments of the American Revolution, hosting George Washington in 1775 and serving as Lafayette’s headquarters in 1781, when thousands of Continental and Virginia militia troops camped on its grounds. The tour will take approximately an hour and requires walking, standing and climbing stairs.
