What sustainability initiatives are included in the dining program?
- Reducing food waste: Our food management systems help us plan, produce and track so that we are not overproducing food.
- Food donations: Although we use software to help us efficiently plan and track food production to minimize waste, there will inevitably be some leftover food. Our priority is to donate excess, safe-to-eat food when appropriate.
- Local purchasing: We purchase around 10-15% of our food locally to support the community, along with purchasing sustainable seafood.
- ReusePass: Our reusable container program helps reduce single-use plastic waste.
