DESCRIPTION:Update as of Feb. 3: This event has been postponed to 2/24. \n\n\n\nInternational Holocaust Remembrance Day Talk: Dr. Patricia Heberer RiceWhen: Rescheduled for a later date.Where: Cole HallNotes: This event is free and open to the public. \n\n\n\nDr. Patricia Heberer Rice\, senior historian at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington\, D.C.\, will give a talk entitled “Nameless Victims\, Silenced Voices: A Profile of Victims of the Nazi ‘Euthanasia’ Program\,” about Nazi “euthanasia” and the so-called T-4 program\, which claimed the lives of approximately 300\,000 disabled patients living in institutional settings throughout Germany and in areas annexed. \n\n\n\nHeberer Rice holds a Ph.D. in German and central European history from the University of Maryland College Park and has worked at the Museum since 1994. She serves as a specialist on medical crimes and eugenics policies in Nazi Germany\, educates groups inside and outside the Museum\, and vets a wide range of Museum content for historical accuracy.  \n\n\n\nThis event is sponsored by the Curt C. and Else Silberman Foundation\, the Kline-Bowman Institute for Peace and Justice\, and the Department of History and Political Science.

The format for the event is a panel discussion between the two speakers and members of the BC community. \n\n\n\nGoldberg\, known for his conservative insight and keen wit\, and veteran National Public Radio reporter and FOX news analyst Mara Liasson deliver clear-cut analysis on the headlines impacting Americans. The two are frequent panelists on FOX News programs like Special Report with Bret Baier. \n\n\n\nLiasson is best known for her work as NPR’s former White House correspondent and for her reporting on NPR programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Goldberg is a popular syndicated political columnist\, former National Review senior editor and best-selling author.   \n\n\n\nThe endowed lecture is sponsored by the W.
