DESCRIPTION:Update as of Feb. 3: This event has been postponed to 2/24. \n\n\n\nInternational Holocaust Remembrance Day Talk: Dr. Patricia Heberer RiceWhen: Rescheduled for a later date.Where: Cole HallNotes: This event is free and open to the public. \n\n\n\nDr. Patricia Heberer Rice\, senior historian at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington\, D.C.\, will give a talk entitled “Nameless Victims\, Silenced Voices: A Profile of Victims of the Nazi ‘Euthanasia’ Program\,” about Nazi “euthanasia” and the so-called T-4 program\, which claimed the lives of approximately 300\,000 disabled patients living in institutional settings throughout Germany and in areas annexed. \n\n\n\nHeberer Rice holds a Ph.D. in German and central European history from the University of Maryland College Park and has worked at the Museum since 1994.
