You will spend a week with your Soar Mentor\, who will guide you through several days of learning about living in community at Bridgewater\, getting to know members of your CL-100 class and instructor\, and forming a tight bond with other members of the Class of 2029. This is a required extension of our orientation and transition experience and will only be excused for students with extenuating circumstances. You’ll be challenged physically\, mentally and strategically through a series of activities to earn points for the BC Cup. Wear your class shirt and be prepared to move! You won’t want to miss it! The winning team will be announced at the Karaoke Cookout on Sunday night. \nNoon Lunch Rotations\nMain Dining Hall-Your Soar Mentor will provide your meal time.  \n1:30-3:15 p.m. CL-100 and Advising Session\, and Honor Council Introduction\nSoar Mentor Friday room location on front of your printed arrival schedule\nMeet your CL-100 professor as you participate in your first CL-100 class! Meet the chair of the Honor Council for an introduction to the honor code and the role the Honor Council plays at Bridgewater College.   \n3:30-4:30 p.m. Department Meeting for Academic Majors\nYour Soar Mentor will have locations for these meetings\nMeet professors and department chairs from your major. Learn more about majors and have your questions answered.   \n4:30–7:45 p.m. Time with Your Soar Mentor and Dinner Rotation\nMain Dining Hall\nDon’t forget you are required to bring your ID card with you to all meals. CL-100 groups will spend time with their Soar Mentors\, go through a dinner rotation\, and check out the college campus. Commuters\, please meet Soar Mentors in the KCC Lobby.  \n8-9 p.m. An Evening with Patrick Holbert\nCole Hall\nIn this hilarious and educational comedy show\, Patrick Holbert tells stories and jokes about his past addiction and current sobriety. “Punch Line Drunk” outlines his transformative journey from abusing substances to amusing audiences. DESCRIPTION:The Bridgewater College Music Department is proud to announce that the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band and two Bridgewater choral ensembles have been invited to Rome\, Italy\, for extraordinary international performance opportunities. \n\n\n\nIn January 2027\, the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band will represent Bridgewater College in the Rome New Year’s Day Parade\, while the choral students will perform in two of Rome’s historic basilicas. \n\n\n\nThis once-in-a-lifetime experience will give our students—and the alumni and supporters traveling with them—a chance to share their music on a global stage.
